It will forever bother me that Vendel is seen young in Wizards but nothing changed with Blinky and Dictatious.

It kinda feels like this sometimes, right? This version from Wizards was by Aaron Loftis and it's a Crew cameo to boot, Rodrigo Blaas specifically! An updated version for RotT was made by Sean Wang but it vanished before had the sense to save off and has yet to reappear.

Suffering from the weather and still can't eat pain free but nearly a week on I'm in less pain than before so?? Even weird wins can only take them at this point.

Interestingly on both one of the Wizards thumbnails and in the final shot Archie has green eyes, just like his earlier design.
It either never got switched or the change come too late. A few eagle eyed viewers did notice though, including me, long before we saw the visual development artwork. If you didn't, well now you have!
