Morgause watched the celebrations with a frown on her face. “This is a disgrace,” she mumbled, partly to herself but also to the person whose presence she felt by her side. 

Elaine hummed softly as she strolled through the gardens during the easter celebration. The maiden, truthfully, had no qualms with the King wanting to bring the New Religion to the people. She found herself rather enjoying the decorations, and the sight of children collecting beautifully colored eggs. As she stepped from the gardens, Elaine bent down to find an egg just under one of the bushes. “Aren’t these beautiful?” She mused, to a figure that loomed at her side. 

Viviane stood in silence at the entrance to the castle with her arms crossed and a disapproving frown. She had dedicated her life to the Old Ways and to Camelot, and seeing the king throw a ball in the name of the new religion unsettled her. Avalon thrived so long as people believed in it’s power and with every passing day the new faith was erasing hers. That Arthur had neglected to throw an Ostra ball and was now celebrating Easter disturbed her deeply and she found herself torn as she debated joining the troublesome celebration. Should she partake in the festivities to show her support of the king and his acceptance of the new religion, or should she turn away and leave for the sake of the old one. Before she had a chance to decide she heard footsteps approaching and she tried to conceal her concern.

It seemed as though Helen could not escape to yelps and cheers that sounded from the castle. She was deep rooted in the Old Ways. This seemed like a sin to her. She tried her best to avoid any paths to the castle, yet she somehow found herself seeing all the people dressed up and chattering amongst themselves. She stood on a bridge above a stream that lent its waters to the castle.
