Yush sure! Just tell me what do you need to know. But here’s the basics:

1. Whenever you make a RP blog, even if the character belongs to some fandom or is OC [a character you made by yourself] - make sure to create an ‘About’ page, or headcanons page, where you tell about your character and etc. That way people will know your character better before rping with you. Also would be nice to mention in your description that you’re a RP blog to let people know.

2. Follow few RP blogs you like, don’t hesitant to send them a starter or ask if you can rp with them! Everyone’s pretty nice and would love to rp with everyone else c: 

3. Usually people prefer para writing style [Where you write like “He went outside and…” instead of ‘-goes outside-’] when it comes to rps with plot. dunno, every person with their own preferance, but I think it’s a good way to rp like that c:

4. Every person who starts rping isn’t super connected to his character at first and it’s completely alright! As more you rp - as more you improve with rping and define your character better!

5. It’d be better also to put rules page, in the rules you can write in what way you like to rp [If for example you don’t like rping smut, violence and etc or you’re underage and etc.] so people will know what’s the best way to rp with you which would make you comfortable.

6. Not everyone does it, but before rping with someone read their rules, and about/headcanons page, it might give you great ideas for plot and you’ll be able to get better with your rp partner’s character, that’s what I do and it’s def helps me.

7. Reblog random starters so people can send to your ask! But as I said bnefore - better to send a message to the rpers you want to rp with instead.

8. Read tags! People often write OOC stuff in tags to talk with you outside the rp. A very cool fact - as more as you get closer and friendly to the rper partner, it gets much more fun and easier to get along with their muse and opens many new options. I’ve a rp partner that they’re one of my best friends, and rn our muses cant live without each other [tru story *o*], it will also make you much comfortable and confident to rp with them, I think that’s a very important step vuv

9. Have fun while rping and don’t get stressed! You rp for fun, not to get stressed from it cause you need to answer threads. Rping is a hobby! and in that case it supposed to ease your stress by letting you express yourself through your character or by doing something you enjoy. If you don’t feel like rping at the moment - then take a break and answer later! You dont need to get stressed, you dont owe anything to anyone. Just have fun and enjoy your time, people canm wait for replies and you dont have to worry about it!
