Tbh, I was inspired by Beanpots’ YOI Day and Night AU ._. but this is totally different lol, I present you The Sky and The Mountain AU *cricket sounds

Rather than mountain, volcano is more relevant. But I want to keep the literal meaning of both’s name. I’ve prepared the storyboard actually, due to the limited time and the total pages need to be drawn I put the plan to shelves :’(

So basically they spend their times together 24/7 (they are supposed to be spirit or humanized object, idrk how to call it sorry but the point is they don’t sleep)…. He Tian has a really beautiful appearance here, due to his outfit mimicking sky’s real time condition. Mo Guanshan has a sturdy design with basic black/grey color and gold accent, but it can be affected by the sky’s condition (just like mountain’s color against the sky).

The plot was quite short actually; the volcano needed to erupt once more. He told sky to give notice through animal behavior. When the volcano erupted, the sky just watched him from above. Post eruption, the volcano listened to the people’s mourns. Suddenly the rain poured down. The volcano knew that it was not the usual rain, it was too sad, so he called the sky out and pacified him, telling him those were consequences he had to take. Eventually the rain stopped when the sun sets haha ._.
