Idk man, the soft spot I have for tmnt 2003 (and the turtles in general but deffo 2003). They're so good, man. Seeing their banter and care for each other, the plots!! Oh man, the first four seasons To This Day remain some of my favourites in terms of story-telling - plots were seen through! Tid bits became relevant later on! We got so many different arcs, but also individual character arcs too; episodes that allowed us to slow down and focus on certain characters and their relationships. I like how threatening the villains felt - even discovering the Shredder's true identity didn't necessarily make him less threatening to me, and Bishop ...when I catch you Bishop, and Baxter Stockman, who felt like the equivalent of a less cowardly Starscream. I love the style of the characters; I like how the brothers look more like humanoid turtles compared to some other iterations which makes sense considering the 03 TCRI ooze was (as far as I remember) unspecified alien biomaterial. I love their relationships with Splinter and the others and each other. I'm so sad the series got caught by The Copyright on YouTube but a certain Archive has my back (bc paramount can look elsewhere if it expects me to pay to watch the dudes 🙃🙃).
