Took me a while to actually get to doing, but I’m finally able to present the redesign to my Vox Machina oc. If you check my earlier posts, you’ll notice some very noticeable differences, but I’m happy to redesign Daoirse with how much my art skills improve the past year.

Is media literacy dead?? Vax is a heroic character. He has always, always sacrificed himself for the greater good. He will always sacrifice himself for others. His refusal to bend for the Whispered One was literally THE OPPOSITE OF SELFISH!! He did it to save the world! He is a hero and has been for a majority if not the entire show!

When Percy tells the story of Ripley, he wants himself to be remembered as a forgiving, kind man, so he says he offered peace and she refused. He knows he would've killed her, had he been given the chance, but it's been thirty years and he doesn't want to be the revenge filled man he was at 23

He purposely does over dramatic longing looks to him, he blows kisses at him, he whistles at him when he rolls up his sleeves, he'll catcall him sometimes.

Anytime Vex questions why he's doing this, he always responds "Percy and I are gay lovers I don't know what you're talking about, homophobe."

What's awful is that Percy has started running with the joke. When Vax looks at him longingly, he'll reach out a hand to him. When Vax blows a kiss at him, Percy will do it right back. If Vax calls Vex a homophobe, Percy will say "This is why Vax and I are running away together in the middle of the night."

Vax will purposely take Vex's seat when she gets up so he can cuddle with Percy. Percy holds Vax's hand in public if they're walking beside each other. They kissed once for the bit.

The ongoing bit doesn't bother Kiki, but it bothers Vex so much. She regularly yells "He's my boyfriend, you ass!" When Vax won't move so she can cuddle with her boyfriend.

Vex volunteers at the local animal shelter and is working her way through college. Kiki is a full-time student. Pike works as a nurse at the local hospital with weird shift times. Weirdly enough, Grog is the only one with a standard 9-5 because he works at the gym.

Vax and Scanlan never pay their rent and Percy constantly nags them about it. There's a chore list that no one ever follows besides Percy, Pike, and Kiki. Vax is banned from keeping a mini fridge and microwave in his room because he had too many things plugged into one outlet and caused an outage. Trinket is the biggest, fluffiest dog ever.

Keyleth has a ton of plants everywhere because she can't fit any more in her room. Percy has a specific chair in the living room no one else can use, as well as a cup, plate, and bowl that are all his. Vax makes blogs and TikToks about their group, and starts getting a real following from it.

They make a channel called Vox Machina where they post random shit like Pike trying to teach Percy and Vax how to bake but they won't stop messing with each other and it ends with a messy kitchen, flour handprints on Percy's ass, Pike's disappoint ment, and Vax covered head to toe in flour.
