The hum of the generators was oddly soothing as Luna paced down the hospital corridors. It was one of the few places within the zone that had near-constant electricity, in order to protect the patients healthy. Whilst still heavily dilapidated it was always warm even in the middle of winter.
As she approached the relevant door, the floorboards creaked underneath her feet. They'd probably be replaced if things weren't as difficult as they are. She'd been called to meet a nurse, someone new to her, for advice and help with pharmaceuticals.
"Lizzy?" she called, knocking on the door. That was all she'd been told aside from the room, so she waited outside in case the woman was dealing with a patient. Whilst alone she pondered - what would the nurse be like? Tall? Short? Young? Old? Friendly? Stern? Her name seemed like a pretty obvious pseudonym, so what was her story?
