Thinking about a TLOU fix-it fic where the story takes off from where the game ended and we see Ellie going back to Jackson to re-integrate with the civilization and after tremendous amount of constant pain and mental turbulence, let herself embark on her healing journey and accept the fact that she isn't just going to wake up and feel better the next day.
She gets her own place, adopts a dog along the way, writes a book, falls in love again (if we're going full cliché, her and Dina rebuild their relationship with shared effort and mutual everlasting love) and turns her nightmares of Joel shouting for her help to memories of him playing her songs before bed.
