Did this fic take me eight months to write start to finish? Yes. Was it one of the most emotionally draining fics I’ve ever written? Also yes. I was GOING THROUGH SOME THINGS as you will likely gather from the first part of this fic. I have talked about this fic in bits and pieces here and there, so some bits may be familiar to you. This world and this verse is very precious to me and I just love it so dearly and this was just something that I had to write and just had to get out of me before it consumed me whole. And on that wonderfully cheery note, I will stop my usual blathering and let you get on to the reading.
