Im still feeling a little irked by his design for reasons im still trying to figure out bc it still just. doesnt Quite feel like a version of Canon Janus? Like all the others designs have their canon counter-part's vibes but the first test piece for Jan is obvi missing some stuff and I'm still trying to figure out how i want to go about adding them in- such as multi colored eyes and the signature hat and gloves?
Like the design for his markings is complicated but still lay too flat for me, because Yellow is an extremely difficult color to work with when it comes to how Guardian Markings work in this au, especially when having to make yellow brighter or darker. Too light and its either white or blends completely into the skin, too dark and turns a muddied green or deep brown, (and I'm obvi not comfortable darkening Dee's skin too much due to his current role in the story with the combination of past me's unfortunate choice to keep all the others designs white to match canon closely, even Roman and Remus' "tan" skin is unfortunately more tanned white skin than actually tan skin, this is also something im looking into changing when i get time because it bugs me so much and I seriously need and want to tackle redesigning the whole cast into something much more diverse and realistic), ect.
So yeah!
