“Hey, this doesn’t look that bad, right?” He asked, rolling up one of his sleeves to reveal a large bite mark that seemed to have already started recovering. It was still a little bruised, but Steve wanted another pair of eyes to make sure it wasn’t getting infected. He seemed to trust Robin enough to be pretty casual with her.

                    ❛      thank  you  for  your  support  on  this  national  holiday.      ❜      she  throws  over  her  shoulder  ,  not  really  even  catching  who  told  that  to  her.   she’s  the  popular  girl  of  hawkins  high  ,  she  gets  birthday  wishes  from  just  about  everyone.  if  you  don’t  ,  carol  will  know.  the  amount  of  freshmen  who  don’t  know  the  rules  are  insane.  but  word  travels  fast  ,  &  it  doesn’t  take  long  for  even  the  newest  kids  to  wish  her  a  happy  birthday.  most  people  do  it  to  get  on  her  good  side.  she’s  been  called  scary  before.  maybe  it’s  the  red  hair.  maybe  it’s  how  short  she  is.  who  knows.  people  say  happy  birthday  to  her  to  get  her  to  notice  them.  popularity  isn’t  exactly  like  a  rash  ,  she  tells  them.  it  doesn’t  spread  that  easily.

            HER FACE IS BARELY  an inch from robin’s  ,  seeing the way the lights of the mall glint off of her eyes in contrast to the  darkness  outside of the skylight.  the last of the crowd from the movie isn’t paying attention  &  even if they  were  ,  daphne couldn’t care  any  less about them.  right now  ,  robin’s here  &  wants to kiss her almost as much as daphne wants to kiss  robin  too.  but she doesn’t  ,  she waits for her to make the first move  ,  cherry flavored lipgloss almost  shimmering  on her lips  ,  blue eyes on the girl before her  ,  scanning  every  feature in case robin decided that she didn’t like daphne the same way.
