You know you're in a southern marching band when you know the acoustical properties of a swamp, and how it can affect the sound of your band while on the field.

I discovered a new, near total-body exercise! The Tuba Squat! This is for all marching tubas and their friends. Squat at the knees and lift your tuba into set, then pop into horns-up (on your shoulder), hold that for 20 seconds, return to set, and squat your tuba back to the ground. Repeat until you can't.

Tumblr update time! Well in the past few days I have figured out 3 things. 1-School sucks on crutches, so the extended break is going to be awesome. 2-Hot Topic is one of the hardest stores to get around in on crutches. 3-I can (surprisingly) bear some weight on my bad leg, making getting around the house easier. And as a side note Hot Topic tshirts are insanely comfortable.

Well for once in two weeks no one has tried to run me over in the hall today! Yay! Crutch tip of the day: When going up stairs it is good foot, then crutches. When going down stairs it is crutches, then good foot.
