If you asked Noah, years later, when he realized he was in love with Elle, he wouldn’t really have an answer. Not because he didn’t love her. Oh, he did. She was everything. But it was more that he may have always been a little in love with his little brother’s best friend. And one day, it was as if the universe was screaming, “there she is. How have you never noticed before?” And his heart was never the same.
