So since it was already brought up even though it is maybe too early for character analysis but we all agree that Siyeong is fighting demons right? Demons being homosexuality. That's why he bullied Taejoo in the first place. South Korea in 70-80s? Ooufff you can get the idea. Also as far as i understand he doesn't have a wife either, which would be weird considering he is clearly a narcissist who wants to be winning all the points of social approval. Having a respected job, being successful in his career, having authority and power, making fruitful connections and of course having a trouphy wife. Which he doesn't because he isnt interested AND because he still has a crush on Taejoo. The only acceptable way he could be close to him is by bullying. That was the only "safe" way of getting attention from his crush, he was terrified of how Taejoo made him feel so he decided it must be disgust and fascination.
