saw a post about nonbinary cultural traditions around the world, summarizing hijra, māhū, muxe, and bakla identities very briefly. I am not part of any of those groups nor am I transfemme but to me that feels a lot like just third-gendering nonwhite transfemmes. Like if you're naming examples of third genders and you describe each of them as "born male but adopt a feminine presentation" while strictly distinct from both trans women and women in general..... I really hope they got any amount of information from literally anyone who is part of one of those identities but I really severely doubt that they did.

Man, if only there were some place where it would be acceptable to talk about negative experiences with members of a certain demographic that is overwhelmingly demonized and portrayed as sexual predators.... Just a single space where I could talk about how I have been mistreated by these people, who are constantly vilified by legislation & the news and widely believed to be irredeemable perverts... How strange that in the past 50 years, nobody has ever wanted to hear a single negative word about this group!

It's weird working in customer service, cause like in general I'm super butch, but I do make tips, so I'm wearing mascara and tying my apron tight to show my waist. I'm fem for this and for weddings apparently

lately i've been around a totally new group of (very cishet) people and I've found that all the guys he/him me and the women seem to be unsure. I was fully undercover as a cis guy for the first week. I've been invited to watch football games. Multiple dudes have dapped me up. Very strange.
