Even though it had been some time since she'd last seen this part of the neighbourhood, Samantha still remembered the landmarks along the way. Not much had changed, unless you counted the new additions along the way. Perhaps it was because she had visited so often during Lucian's short coma. Nonetheless she found her destination with ease and, after a moment's hesitation, and another moment longer she mustered up her courage and knocked quietly on the door.

Questions and worries piled up and vied for attention in her mind as she waited. How was he? Had he healed properly? Was he getting into any more trouble? How were his spars going? Had his relationship with Vincent improved? Had he found any strong opponents? Had he encountered Zarko again? So many questions, not enough answers. The Audino felt like she was going to burst from all of the thoughts that raced dervishes around in her head.
