SD Ti tool card .
Laser cut 2mm thick Ti6AL4V titanium credit card sized survival card weighing just 38 grams .
I found it best to use a stick or other solid item to push the arrow heads / pry bar out of the sprue as the laser cut edges on the arrows especially the tips are sharp and pointy . It did require some pressure to break the seams, but at least you know they will never accidentally fall out.
Once free of the sprue I fashioned a simple but effective tool from a cut hazel stick using some nano cord to bind the arrow into a cut slot .
I was about to test fire in the woods at some static archery targets (bow hunting is illegal in the UK ) but before I could finish the second arrow I snapped my bow (a sad story for another day ! ).
The nano cord can be wrapped around the haft of the arrow for later use but also works as an improvised grip for when Ive properly sharpened the heads up and I will be making small kydex sheaths for them similar to the ESSE AH-1 arrow heads sheaths I make .
only available direct from http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk/product/sd_titanium_card
SD Ti prybar .
The 2.7mm thick 6al4v Titanium prybar from Survival depot has some quite thin edges to the pry bar allowing them to be used to strike a fire -steel /ferro rod or as an emergecy use scraper and are also thin enough to open up package tape on a wrapped box and far more besides and only weighs 15 g .
only available from http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk/product/sd_ti_prybar
Ti of the needle .
Titanium sail makers needle from http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk/product/ti_needle_v2 .Ive wrapped mine in several feet of nano cord to improve grip and for safety have added a gutted 550 cord cover with heat shrink wrap insert and melted end . This will live on my workshop desk very useful for cleaning up when Im making knives.
