A Double P Review: Titan M from Fuse Chicken

For the last month I have had the pleasure of using one of "the toughest cables on Earth" to charge my phone and I have to say, I'm a believer.

The Titan M by Fuse Chicken is a microUSB cabled made with industrial-grade flexible high-strength steel that is labeled as one of the toughest cables on Earth. Gone are the days of frayed cables or even kinks and knots. During my testing I let my kids play with it for an extended afternoon, balled it up and through it in my laptop bag, tied it in numerous knots, and even ran it over with my car. Other than the strenuous test, I just used it everyday as I normally would and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the cable.

One side benefit of the Titan M that I was expecting is how much fun it is to play with. When the cable wasn't charging my phone, I found myself fidgeting with it during meetings, while on calls, and while I skimmed through my inbox for the day. Weird thing to mention I know but I can honestly say I’ve never done this with other cables without a mess of knots to untangle once my call was complete.

Is this the toughest cable on Earth? For your charging needs, I’m going to go ahead and say yes, there’s little can do to fray or damage this cable. My only concern of this breaking would be the tip of the microUSB adapter itself. There’s not much you can do to strengthen that so continue to be careful when jamming that end into your phone. If you’re in the market for a cable that is unnecessarily indestructible, look no further than the Titan M from Fuse Chicken.
