Holiday Tissue Pack Envelope
Wet wipes and tissue packs are hygiene essentials that we bring along in our totes, cars and offices. Unfortunately, one is yet to find tissue packaging that can be considered as cool or stylish. Homemakers with some extra fabrics on their hands can remedy the situation with do-it-yourself tissue pack envelopes with various designs to fit their tastes. Here are five simple steps to dress your wipes in style. Step 1: Cut 3 rectangle pieces measuring 3 ½ x 5 ½” from chosen fabrics. Rich colored damask curtain or recycled holiday linen make good materials for Christmas themed envelopes. Step 2: Place one rectangular fabric on a work surface with the right side up and fold one long edge under 1- ½” and press. Do it again with the second piece of rectangular fabric. Step 3: Overlap the folded edges of the rectangles by ½” with the right sides facing down. Step 4: Place the third rectangular fabric on the work surface with the right side up and put the overlapped rectangles on top. Match the right sides together then secure them with a pin. Step 5: Sew them together with a ¼” seam then turn it over with the right side out. Get your tissue packet and insert it in the opening to give your wipes their own Holiday swathe for Christmas.
