i feel like MyShane is a dog person the same way i am… in which not really? But! Im really good with dogs, every dog ive met has at least tolerated me and most love me. I got offered a dog training apprenticeship from on of the big names in the usa, like genuinely i believe he could be Very Good with dogs even if he doesnt like them too much. I prefer cats but when you get going with a good dog…. Its a partnership! Youre drift compatible!! And when you dont Love Dogs you are very aware of when a dog is badly behaved and because youre missing the dog-lover “oh its okay because its cute” glasses…. The world is really fucking annoying. Okay. Anya is the best trained dog but she doesnt listen to Ilya because he doesnt care if she does the trick or not he will still reward her but Shane? He has her emergency recall to an ART. There will be no jumping on anyone that isnt ilya. Shane takes her to a canine good citizen test and she does so good. That dog will NOT be a menace to anyone but his husband. Because ilya has the rose glasses lf “oh thats just my baby and my baby does NO HARM how can you be mad when she inherited your freckles hollander? Why you deny her love. Her love is in her drool of course” and yeah thats my take.

i think Shane would also fuck heavily with Rally competitions because i think its the most fun you can have without doing agility while being applicable to the real world. He would hate memorizing the signs though im sorry shane i also have not mastered advanced rally signs because why the FUCK are there two stop signs and a stand and a walk around the dog. Confusing!!! On purpose </3 but it does make a successful run sooooo satisfying.
