- Soft sunshine slowly filled the once dark and silent room as the sun rose, the quiet hum of the air conditioning running acting as white noise as both Katie and Tyke slept peacefully. It was one of those rare days where Tyke had a day off, meaning he got to sleep in and spend his whole day with his lovely wife, how fun :3 !! Katie’s face was squished up against his neck, and her arms were wrapped so tightly around him that he couldn’t really move unless he really tried to, trapping him in bed with her. >:3 -
With the sun shining not so softly directly in his eye, he'd gently bury his face in Katie's hair, letting out a tired and whiny groan. His body seemed to relax upon the feeling of her wooly hair, his arms tightening around her as if she wasn't as physically close to him as she possibly could be. He never minded how constrictive her own grasp was, as it was never too harsh for him. Especially because he's nearly half her own height and THRICE her weight </3.
Plus, it was a nice reminder that she was still there with him. Almost possesive in a way. Ever since the holidays were closing in, he'd seem to work longer shifts to get decorations ready and serve more customers, not leaving much tine for them. But now, as the holidays some to an end, he was finally able to stay home, comfortably content in his wife's arms ^^.
