tipression refers to the depression felt by tipsters after leaving duke tip, a hella rad academic camp for people ages ~13-16 that is widely regarded as the best thing that ever happened to anyone who has ever gone. the first term just ended on saturday, and this was my last year, so i’m feeling pretty tipressed right now, especially since i probably wont be able to see the majority of my tip friends again. if your friend is suffering from tipression, try consoling them by playing american pie on repeat, ordering in pizza or chinese, flipping through their termbook or reading tipwiki with them, giving them a key to swing around on their lanyard, or making them eat dinner at 5 every night. (alternatively, avoid all of these activities if your tipster friend seems prone to breaking down.)
