I'm guessing it's written the way it is because there isn't really a "vi"-rhymes-with-"pie" sound in the Japanese language. (The "v" sound itself is only used in loan words, as far as I know.)

Thrash is a Demon Lord (not a demon king, dont get it confused, cuz its an important plot distinction) and Rain is a high ranking angel (dont ask me what rank cuz idk or remember)

pretty much Rain is hired/summoned/whatever by the Kingdom of IDFK (i wrote their story in junior year of hs so pls forgive me for not remembering names/details) and pretty much her and her 6 sisters that were also hired are tasked with capturing all 7 of the demon lords. (7 angels vs 7 demon lords, all of which represent the 7 virtues and 7 sins)

Thrash is originally ‘captured’ by Rain, but only in the form of having halos placed around his wrists as a form of hand cuffs. They burn and Rain uses them to drag him where she pleases, which is typically helping people in need because she’s a ditz and a kind soul and would rather use Thrash to help people than to just surrender him to the kingdom.

Eventually Thrash is brought back to the castle where they attempt to kill him. I say attempt because he’s kind of a weird case in that he technically has no heart. He’s not alive by typical means and is technically a shadow manifested physically. But you can’t arrest a shadow so Rain more or less literally gives him half of her heart so that she can arrest him. When he’s to be executed, she rips her heart out of him. It’s pretty fucking metal tbh.

Also there’s a whole plot of Thrash meeting the princess and befriending her and finding out her whole deal, as well as a random Dude (idfk I have a lot of doodles of some random douche in my doodles but i literally dont see any reason for his existence in the plot besides comic relief + filling a party) Thrash also eventually gets an airship and the pilot is a Rly Sad alcoholic but also Daddy soooooo we all know what my priorities were as a youngin’

but yeah

eventually Thrash gets to unleash his Shadow Powers and shit and become his true demon form and punches the fuck out of the kingdom’s highest knight who finds some ancient angel power and becomes a pseudo God for a second. Thrash kicks his ass hard, just sayin. Like, he no longer can sit he got his ass kicked in so bad

Aaw, that’s a cute concept! Absolutely agreed on the woodcarving, and in my College AU Red is an art major! Blue might like percussion instruments, too - gives him a chance to hit something constructively :P
