if that’s about what i just reblogged from kiki it is!!! a real thing but sometimes using gendered slurs and being aggressive isn’t„, how you deal with ableism„„, and so it’s kind of a funny post. i guess. i don’t know.
oh i was talking more about stuff that i've been seeing in general like there was a comic a few days ago with an ableism punchline
but that post actually makes me feel super unsafe i talked about it before but like uh ok i don't agree with sending messages like that with gendered slurs etc but it's like
making a punchline of checking your privilege and of ableism and of being called out and people being mad and that makes me feel really uncomfortable because i am tired of people treating being called out as a joke like u need to stop
i just. don't want. abled people to talk about ableism or disability or anything at all. like. i would rather be invisible than have you joking about my struggles. it's really easy for able-bodied people to dismissed ableism which is the most ridiculous thing because like what the heck isn't it obvious that disability is like ??? really hard to deal with ??? and people are dicks about it regularly ??? before i had any experience with disability i knew it wasn't a walk in the park ???
