✨ E L L I E S R O O M✨ has had a makeover. Yes, again 🙄 unfortunately for Eloise, being the only girl means she has the smallest room. Which unfortunately for me means, it needs redecorating regularly to keep up with the mess she makes in her little box. It’s not hard for the walls to get scratched or scuffed when you have a teen-princess throwing approximately 15 strops per day in such a confined space so it’s necessary to keep repainting to keep it looking fresh. This room was one of many on my to do list, and wanting to keep the costs low, I’m really pleased with how it turned out. It actually didn’t cost anything other than some leftover white paint I had stored in the garage and a shuffle around of some accessories. I also painted the desk and inside the wardrobe. The wardrobe was actually a purpose built additional space for this room, as without it, there wouldn’t be room for clothes. It was built a few years ago by knocking through the wall and extending into the landing. Which was a simple yet effective way of creating extra space and storage in a tiny bedroom. I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out today, it’s brighter, lighter and strangely, it looks bigger! It’s amazing what you can do with a little imagination and some creativity.
