This time around, we voted to illustrate our favorite character from a novel of our choosing. I took a really long time trying to settle on who to bring to life, before caving and deciding that I needed to illustrate the character who is nearest and dearest to me; Charlie Kelmeckis from The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I first read this book fifteen years ago, and have read it once a year every year since. No matter how many times I read it, I always find something new, and feel more and more like Charlie each time. The story of an isolated introvert finding their place, and making friends, is very personal and relatable to me. I hope you like him! Let me know in the comments who your favorite book character is. It’s that time again, y’all! Another round of the #tinyartcollab ! For this round, we decided to do the #drawinyourstyle challenge with each other, how fun is that?! I got the adorable and talented @seffuku - who makes the cutest webcomics, so I decided to redraw her character Clover. I love this series because it is so sweet and wholesome, and it’s not everyday that you see comics showcasing a main character with a disability (very important). Finally, something new post that I am actually happy with! This painting was created for Round 1 of the #tinyartcollab Our challenge theme was to use 3 colors- pink, gold, and mint (with black and white being permitted). It was super challenging but so fun, and great to finally feel some positive inspiration!
