Hc before TTBK ruin and fix my whole life.
After Raine and Eda finally figured how to get along, there would always be a time when one of them (mostly Eda) gets into a pit of mischief and shenanigans. The only way out is either joining the war or acting like they don't know the other witch's plan at all (Raine would probably ignore Eda's call for an hour until they get enough of her nagging). One neutralizes the other or makes it much crazier.
Then one time, when Raine needed to join a meeting for bard witches ONLY, Eda also have a must-do job to get their bestfriend/partner-in-crime/secret love to join her crazy plan that meant to destroy half of the school in the process. Unfortunately, it isn't one of Raine's plan to ditch the very first bard witches meeting since they transferred, so, they declined. Eda knew there is a 50/50 chance that they'll agree, but she didn't stop there. She followed them to their meeting using the secret doors. She kept whispering, throwing something, hexing pens and papers just to get their attention that made Raine irritatedly move far away from her. Raine finally have the silence and peace they needed to concentrate, but then, the quietness also bothered them as the crazy fiery pain in the ass witch disappeared from peaking behind the secret door of the bard room. It was a battle of their passion and conscience, and unfortunately for them, that crazy bestfriend of theirs won that battle as they excused themselves away from the meeting to find Eda.
They'll sure get trouble for this if either Principal Bump or their parents find out that they are the acquaintance of the reason why the school iS PRODUCING THICK LAYER OF SMOKE FOLLOWED BY THE SOUNDS OF THE LOUD SIREN AND FIERY BOOM THAT CAME FROM THE WEST WING.
There is only one witch that they could think off, and they are right. As soon as they nearly flown all the way there out of their racing heart filled with worry, they saw her covered with dusts, scratches, and even her fiery orange hair is literally in flame. She's drawing spell circles frantically in the air, they thought she's going to cause one again, but they notice how the fallen bricks, burning and firing curtains, shattered glasses and such slowly goes back to their respective places like nothing happened.
Clearly, her plan backfired before she could've started. The biggest troublemaker they all have known for her unstoppable and unavoidable masterpranks is cleaning and reversing her biggest destruction yet. When she saw Raine at the end of the hallway she's facing, she gave them an awkward grin saying,
"I swear this isn't suppose to happen. But I guess, surprise?" Then Raine faceplamed and went throwing their hands in the air, gesturing the whole situation. "See?!" Frustration is there in their voice, but they are relieved to see her well, at least. "You'd be a mess without me."
