The Gin & Tonic garden is still my main source for inspiration for my terrace. I wish I had an actual garden and could start to think more permanently but alas... Anyways, I need to make some height, get that lush feeling. More pictures found here.
I only have 3 pansies, 2 wallflowers and one muscariΒ on the terrace and still I have daily visitors of buzzing friends. They are mainly there in the morning but it's really nice to watch them. I hope there be more of them as I get more plants in place.

This was the first picture I saved to my pinterest board in search of inspiration for my Tiny Patch. I really like the yellow chairs, might spray paint mine, they are currently green. (X)
With the possibility of doing some gardening my mind is going crazy. I want everything! I'm being far from realistic and it will be a wake up call when I'm there and see just how small it is. There will probably be room for one raised bed.
Anyways, I told myself I would buy these if they are still in store after the move, unsure about the dahlia because I don't know if I have a place to winter store it and the first iris, do I like it or just the name?
"Drink Your Tea" iris sibirica, a very easy and hardy perennial and with me growing in raised bed I will need everything to be extra hardy (x)
"Sweet Surrender" tiger lily, it just grows and grows with so many flowers. I had this in my old garden, only issue lily beetles. My own picture.
"Butter & Sugar" iris sibirica, look at that! I want to eat it! So pretty. I usually go for iris germanica but this one... look at it! (x)
"Lake Ontario" dahlia. Seen a few pictures and sometimes it's more yellow, I want it to be this creamy but I don't know if it is. I have to check out the bike storage at the new place and see if I can winter store plants there. I will be so popular. (x)
I like it but I feel a little "cheated", this is about the space I will have but here she's got some more space for storage. She also grows containers with tulips in the spring and such. I won't have a backstage area. But it sure is lovely and it shows you can have a "garden" even in containers.
PS. I love the dill will the cosmos, I'll do that too (x)
