Discipline
My kid has a tendency to throw things when he gets mad. I recognize it, because when I lose my temper I feel the same way. I have dreams where I throw things or hit people because I'm so mad nothing else conveys it.
Lately he's decided to be a stubborn little shit and not do things I know he can do. It's a contest of wills and I'm frequently the loser. Today he refused to say "ya" when I asked him if he wanted to watch Sesame Street. The fact that I shouldn't have even turned the goddamn TV on is another problem.
He wouldn't fucking do it. He cried, he whined, he threw his juice, and he ended up having a 20-minute tantrum. He only stopped after he noticed I left the room. Of course he started right back up when he saw me.
I fucking hate this. He already seems slow with talking, and now he's deliberately not using words he knows because we're asking him to. He's independent, great. He's also an asshole.
Just say yes, you little jerk🖕
