Horse show got canceled because lesson pony is colicky. She was colicking after our lesson last week and she started again last night. Nothing major, and she's already getting better but my trainer doesn't want to risk anything or stress her out more, so she's getting some time off :)

From our lesson Saturday :)
You know this blog is going to be super confusing once I start blogging more about my lessons and leasing. Two opinionated mares named Tink, what could go wrong?
So today's lesson was the first time I felt like I was actually riding instead of bouncing around like a sack of potatoes. Definitely one of my better lessons. I actually did a mini course today of raised cavelleti and we didn't make fools of ourselves lmao Tink did really well too, and even though she is a bit lazy, we kept a good rythmn and I got tink to stretch down into the bit. Really happy with today!!
