The silvery tones of beautiful singing rang through the woods and woke Tinker Bell from her bored stupor, gaze drifting past the canopy of leaves to the glimpse she could catch of white clouds above. Sliding off the green leaf she rested in, her wings caught herself on the way down as she flitted through the forest to find the source of the not-too-distant song.
She wasn’t alone in being drawn to the sound: other natural creatures came from their nests or burrows to meet the young woman the dulcet tune flowed from. Tinker Bell had never been to this area before, just a stop along her travels as it were, but she could tell from the behavior of the critters around that they were used to the presence of this human in their midst. This was routine.
The fairy drew near for a closer look, joining the audience of birds in their private concert.
