St. Louis-based talk show host, former news anchor and reporter April Simpson was able to get in touch with Miss Robbie, briefly over text, to find out, reports Madame Noire. According to Simpson, the 80-year-old restaurateur is understandably having a hard time dealing with the latest events and stated she won’t be giving any official statements anytime soon. “Life seems unreal right now, especially for people dealing with pain and heartache. One of those people is our beloved Ms. Robbie Montgomery,” she wrote on Facebook. “I, April Simpson, reached out to her letting her know she is loved and has an immense amount of support.” “Understandingly, she is not ready to talk and just wants prayers,” she added. “In a text to me she wrote quote: "Thanks For The Prayers, But At This Time I’m Weak And Can’t Make A Statement. Please Keep Praying For Me And My Son" Norman was arrested in August and accused of aiding in orchestrating Andre’s 2016 murder alongside dancer #TericaEllis. This was done to collect on the life insurance policies he had for the then 21-year-old, which Norman put in place in 2014. On top of the conspiracy to commit murder for hire, Norman was also hit with a conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud as it’s alleged that he lied on the life insurance application forms. A St. Louis music producer-turned-life insurance agent was indicted Thursday in connection with an alleged murder-for-hire plot to kill the grandson of Sweetie Pie’s owner Robbie Montgomery. Waiel “Wally” Yaghnam, producer of Nelly’s hit 2002 album “Nellyville,” is the third person charged in the case, after Montgomery’s son Timothy Norman and a Memphis, Tennessee, woman were charged with facilitating the scheme. St. Louis Today reports: Yaghnam, 42, faces one charge of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, as federal prosecutors say he worked with Timothy Norman, to fraudulently obtain a life insurance policy on his nephew, Andre Montgomery Jr. Yaghnam worked as Norman’s insurance agent, prosecutors say. Prosecutors say Yaghnam and Norman made false statements on life insurance applications for Montgomery Jr., lying about the teen’s income, net worth, medical history, employment and family background. Norman, 41, became the sole beneficiary on a $450,000 life insurance policy for Montgomery Jr., his nephew, in 2014.
