Burning Sun and Hotter Indian
Late to rise late to bed. We got out of bed pretty late this morning. I was up earlier and the weather was crappy so I jumped back into bed. After a bowl of coco pops and a glass of tropical juice, we dressed and went to the Manly Corso. By this stage, the weather was much better. Being short of money, shopping shouldn't have been on our minds...but it was! Fortunately, neither of us spent a dime...we walked the corso and window shopped. After a lap or two, the weather really started heating up. The forecast was crappy but the sun was out and it was Hott!!! So we strolled back to the apartment and donned our bathers and grabbed the towels. We walked across the road and set up the towels. The sun was penetrating...had such sting. It was an amazing afternoon...bashing in the sun, watching the surf and passers by. The only down side of the day was the fact that the high tide had bought in thousands of blue bottles. JL was quickly against going for a swim, I followed suit. It came to the end of the afternoon, and after plenty of sun we headed back to the hotel. We decided to jump in the hotel pool seeing as though we didn't swim in the ocean. During the day, I had made contact with timmsy. We had organised to catch up for dinner. It just so happened that a few other old Marcellin boys were in town too. So some indian for dinner was needed. It was great to catch up with the boys...Jason Manakis, Andrew Dillon, and Jacob Gasparini. After a few curry's, alot of nam bread, and a massive bill, it was time to head our separate ways again. The boys are driving back to melbourne 2moro so they needed some shut eye. Timmsy drove JL and I home. That brings me to right now, this blog. We're tired and watching a shitty movie on television...its time for bed. Enjoy the blog and the photos... More to come...
