Blue eyes widened slightly as she took in the sight of the brothers’ garden. The dirt that stained his overalls and gloves and the earthy smell that came from the man was...more attractive to her than it should have been in all honesty. There was nothing more that the Princess loved than gardening and people taking care of the tender earth and Luigi was doing both.
Though, she’s now realizing she had been staring at the seedlings far too long and hadn’t said anything. A light blush dusted her cheeks as she chuckled and looked back over to the plumber. “Gardening and ya didn’t invite me? SO cold!” she teased.
“But, seriously, these seedlings are cute!” Daisy chimed, disregarding her tidy dress and once white gloves as she knelt into the dirt and began gently caressing the leaves of the tomato plant seedlings and sorting through the soil. “Really? Does this ‘Brooklyn’ have a lot of plant life?” she asked, looking back to the plants fondly; the sprouts seeming to perk up more from her presence.
