Because I've never seen it before and I want to see if you really mean EVERYONE: Hal/Tim

This got away from me.
ā
āYouāre a long way off from Gotham, kid.ā
Itās easier to find Green Lantern then Tim realized. Thereās warm butterflies in his stomach that has nothing to do with the fact that heās thirty stories up on a building and everything to do with the fact that heās disobeying Batman. He gets now why it was so hard for Jason to listen sometimes. Not that heās doing this just for the warmth in his stomachāheās here to piss off Bruce, or attempt to piss off Bruce. Heās not entirely sure itās going to work, but Timās also too anger to care right now.
āIf I say Iām on a school field trip will you believe me?ā
The scowl on Lanternās face doesnāt move in the slightest, but Timās still smiling. He didnāt come all the way to Coast City just to get scolded, though heās sure thatāll happen anyway. The only thing he really needs is for Green Lantern not to decide to take him home immediately.
The man is silent for a long time, keeping his glare solid on Timās masked face, to which Tim keeps smiling politely at him until, finally, he gives in with a sigh. It feels like a victory to him.
āWhat do you want, kid? Iām not exactly one for sidekicks.ā
And heās not. Hal Jordonās one of the only members of the Justice League without a teenage superhero by their side. The closest heās had falls under Guy and Kyle, but itās not like theyāre actually sidekicksāmore along the lines of āreluctant partnersā and āwhy am I always cleaning up after you guysā. They share the same name, same ring, same all-knowing bosses, but thatās about it.
āDo you want a sidekick?ā Tim pries, stands up on the edge of the building so heās more at eye-level with the other, though Hal does have the advantage of being able to fly. Heās still hovering high enough that Tim needs to tilt his head up to look at him. āJust for tonight, I mean.ā He puts on a charming smile, makes himself look exactly how old he is at fifteen with the way the wind swept through his hair and threw his cape around. Heās even got his fingers intertwined behind his back.
āI think itās way past your bedtime and Batmanāā
āDoesnāt know.ā Tim pipes up, moves a fraction forward so his boots are halfway off the building. āOr, he probably does know by now. Heās look like that. But, I donāt care. Just for tonight?ā Tim shifts his weight, balancing perfectly on the edge. āTake me home when the sun comes up.ā
Halās giving in, he can tell. The way the glare softens on his face and a slight edge of concern replaces it. Heās wondering about consequences. About getting chewed out by Batman or not getting chewed out, just being given the cold shoulder and silent treatment for who knows how long. Heās halfway in between just like Tim is right now and Timās not above manipulation to get his way, refuses to let Halās conscious decide the outcome, so he slowly tips his chest forwardā
āCatch me?ā
And falls from the building.
He doesnāt fall for long. Halās quick, but itās long enough and sudden enough that Halās not thinking about Batman or Bruce anymore when heās got an armful of laughing Robin.
āAre you insane?!ā He hisses, flying them back up, away from the very solid ground below.
Timās still laughing; his cheeks bright red from the rush, turning in Halās arms to look at him, put his arms around his shoulders to better help his hold. āYou think I wouldnāt have saved myself? Iāve jumped from higher buildings then that, but thanks. Youāre cute.ā
āRobināā
āShow me the ocean?ā Tim now asks to avoid Halās scold and speech he was surely about to break off into. āNightās been quiet so far and I figure if the galaxy were in danger you wouldnāt be here right now.ā
Timās right, he knows heās right by the irritated look the Lantern gives him, but it works. Theyāre at the nearest pier with Tim sitting on the handrails and Hal leaning against it without the hazy green glow around him. Ā Halās looking up at the stars and Timās looking at the waves, black ocean beyond.
āWhy are you here, Robin?ā The questions come a few minutes later. Tim lets him ask, turns around so heās facing Hal, his feet dangling back over the pier instead of the water below.
āMe and B got into a fight.ā Tim replies, no sarcasm or avoidance in his words now. āI wanted to get out for a bit.ā
Hal doesnāt look like he believes him. āYou came to the complete opposite side of the country to get out?ā
Tim shrugs. āAnd to see you.ā
It hits Hal then. Tim can actually see the realization cross his face and he has to hold back the smile that wants to break out over his face because it is sort of adorable. Heās so used to quick deductions and nothing being kept secret. Itās fun watching it all come together for someone else.
āYouāre seriously trying to piss off Bruce by visiting me?ā
āThink itāll work?ā
It will. They both know it will and Tim thinks thatās what Hal is really bothered by. Itās not that Bruce and Hal hate each other, but they tease in a stoic, sarcastic way. They bash heads more often than not with Bruce treating Hal like some child at points and Hal trying to prove to Bruce heās a Green Lantern, Peace Keeper of the Universe for a reason.
Tim leans forward, opens his legs a little bit.
āWanna help?ā
Heās not sure if Halās going to shove him away or give in, wonders if the everlasting one-upping battle with Batman reaches out towards his Robin too. Logically, it shouldnāt. Tim knows that. Halās twice his age and Timās not legal, but itās not like Timās asking him for a fuckāfigures he should see how this turns out before taking that step.
When Hal does move towards him, moves so Tim has to spread his legs more to make room, Tim knows heās won the battle. Hal stares at him for a few seconds before kissing him, the force of it hard enough that Timās head tilts back to adjust, take in their height difference. He hums happily, quickly puts his hands in Halās hair so he canāt pull away so fast.
It lasts until their breathless and Timās heartbeat is louder in his ears then the waves crashing against wood. He only gets two breathes in before heās moving to capture Halās lips again so Tim can taste the ocean air on his tongue. Heās actually surprised when he feels Halās hands on his hips, dragging him forward until Timās pressed against him.
They taste like each other in a matter of moments and Hal moves away from Timās mouth when his lips are kiss swollen, teeth grazing his jaw and down his throat to lick away the salt thatās collected on his skin. Tim curses softly and tilts his head back, lets Hal do as he wants while his fingers pull and scratch at his hair.
Tim wants the marks. He wants bruises that canāt be questioned; that look nothing like the ones he gets from a solid punch. He wants teeth marks that Bruce can analyze to find they match with Hal, that donāt fade for days.
He gasps softly when Halās mouth sucks at his skin, can see the burn of his skin and the rush of his blood. Tim uses his grip to press him closer and purrs in satisfaction. He finds out quickly heās sensitive behind his ears, a fact that Hal exploits to the point that Timās hands travel down from his hair to Halās back, clawing and scratching for more.
When he knows thereās marks enough that no collar with cover them, Tim drags Hal back up and shoves his tongue in his mouth, teeth scrapping against lips and biting when he finds the urge too compelling. Theyāre both panting by the time they pull away, Timās hands falling down Halās chest so he can hear how hard his heart is beating.
Tim licks his lips. āSunās coming up.ā
Itās true. The sky is turning into an indigo instead of the deep, dark, blue. Hal can see the horizon now, see the plump red of Timās mouth clearer.
He wants to kiss him again, but resists. āBetter get you back before Dad wakes up.ā
Tim grins.
ā
For the next week, Tim wears v-necks whenever he can and comes out of the shower without a shirt on as often as possible after patrols. Bruce doesnāt say anything, but Tim can see the way he stares and how he doesnāt let Tim out of his sights. He wonders if thereās a change he could get the security footage when Bruce finally punches Hal. It would be worth itāHalād probably like him to kiss it better anyways.
