❛ Running a colony is a lot harder than I thought it would be. ❜
THE MARE IS SEETHING-- the sickening CRACK of stone echoes off the alley walls as her jaw appears to dislocate, the mare’s eyes glossing over to a solid, fiery pink. Legs are braced, sides heaving; the strangled scream that slips from her throat hangs in the air.
The thugs that have Spider-Man cornered should FEAR FOR THEIR LIVES. Do not touch him. If you touch him, YOU WILL DIE. | @timewarpd for PETER !!
@timewarpd
peter would be a bit freaked out at first, but quickly comes to terms with it, because having a dead gf is kinda cool
||..she freaks out way more than she really should bc technically?? she’s really not dead? she still has a heartbeat, but she’s v sensitive about it bc she sees herself as a zombie when really,,, her magic is keeping her alive,,, but def catch her being sensitive about being frozen lookin’ like death warmed over ;3;
It takes precisely twenty-two minutes for the day to hit its first, slightly sour note--Luther and Diego (because who else?) get into a small spat over absolutely nothing--and it takes twenty-six minutes for the day its second, marginally sourer note, and Five can easily read the writing on the wall. It’s only going to get worse from here.
“So,” he edges nearer to Allison, currently the only semi-steady rock in the rushing river of Hargreeves Family Drama (but only because Vanya’s not here yet) “how long do you think this fun little family party has before there’s bloodshed? I give them ten more minutes.”

@timewarpd - ♡ for the handler
Agreeing to this lunch may have been the worst thing he had ever done. He could barely stand her on the best of days, and he certainly couldn’t on any other day. Today wasn’t one of those ‘best’ days, far from it. He had an apocalypse to stop, and all she wanted to do was reminisce about when he was an assassin it seemed. Why’d she move him to management then? Besides making sure he couldn’t get his hands on a briefcase. Not one to each much normally he pushed his food around on his plate, she could live vicariously through someone else. “Why do you insist on bringing up my past?” he asked, eyes narrowed slightly a sign he was very much done with talking about his past. If he knew more about her he was certain she wouldn’t like the tables being turned.

“Another protestant.” If looks could kill... “Wonderful.”
[ @timewarpd - ♡ for ben ]
They were all young, and at first that worried Five. He botched the jump again. He messed up the calculations. But turns out that wasn’t it at all. As soon as the arrived, he was able to locate the date mainly because he had landed them in the courtyard of the Umbrella Academy. There was no statue of Ben. And Reginald came out to see what had just happened. Five had been able to play it off that he had just returned, his siblings thankfully played along. He hadn’t even spared them a second glance before he was being called by Reginald for whatever he was planning.
He didn’t return to his siblings until that evening, and he promptly ignored all of them for the time being, not wanting to deal with the issues at hand with them all being back to being thirteen. They had some time before the apocalypse after all. Were they potentially fucking with the timeline in a major way, absolutely. And he would deal with that problem later. Right now he didn’t want to deal with it. He had no answers, and that was a problem.
He was in his room, curfew was soon, but he had things to worry about, largely should he attempt to get them back to the right time, or would they have to grow up twice under Reginald’s rule. Well he wouldn’t, he grew up in the apocalyptic world but that was besides the point. He was mulling this over when he heard a knock, which was nearly a foreign concept to him, and to a few other siblings he had ( not that he would name names ).
Instead of biting out an answer, or merely Blinking to the other side of the door ( he was too tired, he wouldn’t be able to if he tried ), he decided he had to face the music someday. His siblings would want answers. When he opened the door, to see a very much alive Ben, he froze. It made sense of course it did, this was before he died, but that didn’t change the fact that Five had not seen him in years, had learned about what happened through Vanya’s book, and had not considered that he would be here with them alive. He should have considered that last part.
He hadn’t. And it showed. Vulnerability was not something Five dealt with healthily, or at all really. But seeing Ben it made his brain short circuit for a minute, and he his hands were in fists at his sides aching to reach out and hug his brother, to ensure that he was actually here. Self control was something five dealt with, and had alot of. Finally he was able to find words, not that he was eloquent with what he said at all, sue him it had been forty five years. “Hey Ben,” he said, stepping aside to let his brother in, “How’re the others?” he asked, ignoring the quite obvious questions he wanted to ask, because Five was maybe just a bit scared. Scared that this was a dream, and he didn’t want to see it turn into a nightmare.
