On February 13, 2000. Timeranger debuted on Japanese television 20 years ago!
❤️🖤🔥⏲️🔥🖤❤️
in the middle of bickering as they’ve done almost every time they’ve been on screen together, shit gets real. Like yeah scary prediction from the future and all, but Timeranger does a pretty fucking grim job of portraying the toll this fighting and these huge monster attacks would actually take on a city, and the damage from the attack in the 2nd pic is visible throughout the rest of the show, turning the regular everyday city scenes into empty apocalyptic warzones.
Tatsuya is still trying to get through to Naoto, who’s making it clear that he’s completely out of his depth with all this future shit, but too prideful and a little bit too dumb to admit it.

Like he really is Just Some Guy who’s in way over his head, but that burning desire for power that he lacks in his real life and his red-hot pride prevents him from asking for help...
