âHaha⌠well.â Lyza withered under the stare, shrinking back slightly.
âIf I was that drunk, I guess youâd remember those better than me!â She looks away a little and blushes. Hard to get away from that accusation. Her eyes keep darting back, though. What was with that stretch? It was uncomfortable, that was what.
She sighs and comes clean. Somewhat.
âI was just joking, you know!! Iâd never actually speak badly about you, except maybe for your rotten personality, heheâŚâ She cringes as she risks the joke.
âIf I say anything about you itâs probably about your training and the dives Iâve been with you on, and the incredible things youâve done. How true your legend is. I can only talk about myself so much! Even if Iâm supposed to have caught up to you, Ozen the Immovable is still the delver Iâve always aspired to be like.â
âMaybe, sometimes, when Iâm real drunk I say stuff like thatâŚâ
Ozen tilted back her head, the quiet pops of vertebrae making her wince. It didnât hurt, but having to keep her gaze perpetually downward was hard on her spine. Despite the effects of the Pins, she wasnât without the aches of poor posture. She was still human, and being human meant certain inconveniences.
âI suppose my temperament is pretty rotten.â She hummed a chuckle, face pointed skywards. "Not that I intend on changing it, mind you. It adds to my lack of charm, which Iâm depending on to ward off annoying upstarts.â She reached for her shoulders with a hand, and massaged them the best she could. âYouâve already broken every record Iâd ever set, and you still aspire to be me?â She murmured, shaking her head. âIâll never understand you.â
Dragging her feet to a sofa, Ozen flopped down on her stomach, and beckoned Lyza to come closer. âGive me a massage, wonât you? Talking to you so much has given me a stubborn knot. Itâs really starting to foul my mood...â
