I WANNA TALK ABOUT LEGS AND ALSO MAE!! Really enjoyed their characters today. (Also a bit of 4c because unfortunately im a 4c pov /pos)

Legundo the Parcel Elf is such a jolly great character. I hope he returns someday! I loved his little interactions with our blue rogues the most. Like. Him saying good job to Mae stealing?? And Mae saying thats the first time she's ever been treated well for just stealing? Oh my heart. And when he noticed 4c really liked his turtle shell, so he wanted to give it to him? And told him he did a good job too? Im in tears. I love the rogues and I love Legundo. When Mae was so excited to find out he was also a rogue my heart melted oh my gods

Now Mae. Oh my god. Ohh this poor girl. SHE HAS WENT THROUGH SO MUCH. The fact that we don't even know Star's name, face, or even if Abolish's voice was really his voice. He just left and never returned. He left with the promise that Mae could come with him. I hope someone made an animatic of the Im Forgetting Your Face meme... I might do it myself someday.

Then Graecie's talk with her after 4c was exiled. Ooough. WHEN GRAECIE TOLD HER "and if I go anywhere, I will give you the option to come with me." I bet that meant a LOT to Mae. Between Star leaving her hanging and 4c not even saying goodbye, having someone who promises to give her that option must be relieving. But. Would Mae even trust that? She told Nom on the mountain and Scott in the mini swamp that everyone she trusts that promises they would stay left.

The difference is that Graecie never promised to stay. She may leave, but that means Mae can come with her.

If anything, I hope Mae and Graecie leave Bannerfall alive if they must.

I think my favorite part of the finale is when everyone was helping revive each other no matter the allegiance. That feeling seeing enemies revive each other, former friends reassuring the other "I've got you," families telling each other to stay safe. It's such a good feeling.

In my headcanon, Bannerfall could be one again. Enemies have competitive rivalries that they settle in duels, friends don't have to feel the guilt of going against each other, and loved ones are no longer separated.

Yeah it's fitting if the cycle of war continues, but after all that they went through? "Maybe the child is right." My friend told me in referring to a tumblr post circulating here and there. It is not weak to hope for a peaceful future. And if everyone wants it? Nothing should get between that!

DaD session 4 spoilers

Chatting with my friend abt Bannerfall bc they really like Katie and Nom like I do, and they had this to say when I was watching the 3rd monarch roulette stream.

"katie may have stood with her oath at the cost of a life but she understands change and is willing to try and understand versus nom who broke his oath to protect the innocent and is refusing to admit when and where he strayed off course"

Mind you, we are 2 weeks behind and they're only getting filtered info from my very limited POV of 4c + selective vodwatching of other people. Yet I agree with this statement SO MUCH. I've gotten to the part where 4c talked to Nom in Vod 27 (Feb 24, 2026 BANNERFALL!! finding the truth), and that statement rang true. I did get spoiled on the way Nom treated Scott recently, so I do think that adds to it but I don't know what happened well enough to discuss it.

4c talking to both Katie and Nom this vod, it's CRAZY. 4c has accused Katie of being hypocritical numerous times before Katie says that people can change and she HAS changed. She may be scared. She may call herself a coward, but she changed and is trying to change to better herself. Nom, on the other hand, continues to believe he is right. He lashes out and jumps to conclusions and doesn't BUDGE when he's challenged about things. I'm so glad Graecie and Katie brought it up on their sides of the argument that Nom needs to be more responsible in regards to emotions.

Nom says that he doesn't have the "final say" in convos. While it is true sometimes, like with him being unable to tell the secret to Katie, Graecie's right in the fact that he's the one who always thinks he's in the right. He's the one pushing for what he believes in. It's not wrong to fight for what you believe is right! But when he becomes arrogant and dismissive of others' feelings and circumstances, he becomes a whirlwind, destructive and unstoppable. If anything, he takes the final say from everyone else. Katie was going to tell him that the oathbreaking didn't matter to her, yet he interrupted her and focused on the fact someone told her.

Katie, on the other hand, is so willing to change; it's the reason why she defected in the first place. For change. She is also willing to listen. 4c could bully and be mean to her, but she has his back, and she'll be willing to lend an ear. She calls herself a coward for being unable to admit she followed orders to kill The Prince, but she is brave enough to realize that. She is brave enough to recognize her own shortcomings and find ways to get through them. Sure, Nom tries to find solutions, but the way he grew up taught him that all he could do was fight his way through it.

Crazy how Nom immediately blamed Graecie when he thought it was her who told her, but 4c, despite sussing Mae, wanted to wait and talk to Katie before outright accusing her.
