Making a Chrono Trigger knockoff for Starbourne
Calling it Time Crusade, so it has the same initials in reverse order, while still making it clear that time travel is involved.
The heroes are as follows:
Crono is Thyme (both are misspellings of the first word in the title)
Marle is Maria (Short for Mary Anastasia, my partner's name)
Lucca is Lucah (A reference to one of my favorite youtubers when I was a teen, Lucahjin)
Frog is Toad (No he will not have the shrill mushroom voice, he will be an actual toad. Also his human name is Gavin)
Robo is Andro (Like android)
Ayla is Mora. (I just think it sounds neat for a buff cave lady) One of my OCs is trans and she named herself after the Time Crusade character.
Magus might be unchanged because it was originally meant to be a title instead of a name (Not sure what to do about his birth name though. Maybe Jason?)
What's a good name for a knockoff of Gravity Falls? Like how Time Crusade is a knockoff of Chrono Trigger.
I wanna include Gravity Falls as fictional media in Starbourne, but I don't wanna use the show's real name because Disney would sue me. The name doesn't have to be a reference to the original name, I mean, Love Choice from Amphibia was clearly based on Twilight.
Since Nintendo is French in my universe (I also renamed it of course) I decided Thyme's sword should be a French one instead of a katana like Crono's... I looked it up and went with a Falchion.

Basically, all the shopkeepers will have garbs and hairdos that match video game protagonists. Simon doesn't notice it until there's one who looks like Thyme from Time Crusade (because that's the only arcane game he's played)
