Thank you for this! YAY! I'm going to go with Time Changes Everything, because that was big for me and I just reread it (yep, I reread my stories because I tend to write what I like reading and I'm fairly proud of some of them!) So the armor that older Poe wears to go back in time and save Finn? That was all inspired by pics of Oscar Isaac as Duke Leo in Dune. And I feel like a lot of the story was me trying to figure out why Poe Dameron would be wearing something like that. Or I could be remembering wrong and the Duke Leo pic just showed up at the right time to use. Either way, that's what Poe looks like when he comes back to save Finn!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE time travel fics and have written several of them for Torchwood, including a soulmate fic that was based on time travel. So this was big for me because I finally had a way to do some time travel in the Star Wars universe after learning a little about the World Between Worlds. I adore causal time loops where something from the future causes something in the past (or vice cersa) and neither could actually happen without the other. So tricky but so fun! I loved writing this story not only for the time travel and relationship drama, but because I got to write all these different versions of the characters - 33-years-old Poe, almost 50-years-old Poe, almost 80-years-old Poe, 24-years-old Finn, and almost 70-years-old Finn. Three Poes and 2 Finns? So fun!

The end was a complete surprise to me and I was tickled to death to write it and post it. Still no plans for anything more, not even a name, but it just felt so right to end it that way - this story is done, but they still had another story and another life to live. It's why fanfiction is so amazing and why I'm still writing it after *cough*manymany*cough* years: the story never ends. There's almost backstory and missing moments and what happens next - the possibilities are truly endless.

I was sort of disappointed the story didn't get more reads, but the fandom was really shrinking by then. I would still love to write another time travel story. I've sketched out a lot of it but am missing crucial pieces. . . so how do you feel about being poked for thoughts on Finn and Poe time traveling through the Force?? 😉
