They made us think buck (almost comparing the two) when showing eddie is ready to move on and at the same time buck gets finally closure from abbey
YEES! In 3b they really did everything to make us think of Buck in a lot of Eddie scenes (the blue eyes, the limitations thing, the kid asking the same question about the medal) and of Eddie in a lot of Buck scenes (i think “this is Eddie’s house, I’m not really a guest” is example enough)
And then when they’re toghether (Eddie knowing about Buck’s obsession about natural disasters, Buck knowing about Ana, Buck knowing Eddie loves baseball, etc) and also the actual scene when they are together and with Chris, like, that a mf family. That’s the message they’re sending the viewers.
And yes, with Michael and the hot doctor they showed how fast a love interest can be introduced and paired with someone. I do think maybe they’ll do something with Eddie and Ana but just to show Eddie is ready to move on and date. I don’t think they’ll work together.
But in conclusion, yes, they are in love, they are a family and if they don’t make it canon i will cry
