1. Rinse down the countertop with a spray bottle of warm water and mild dish detergent.
2. Clean the grout with a tile and grout cleaner. (Use rubber gloves whenever using this type of product. It is a very strong cleaning agent that can burn your skin if it comes in contact with it).
3. Put some of the tile cleaner on a toothbrush and, using small brush strokes, begin scrubbing the grout. Start at one corner and begin working your way through all the grout lines. Scrub by applying the toothbrush, with pressure, to the grout lines and working it back and forth in small brush strokes.
4. When you are done with the grout lines, clean the tile using the same procedure.
5. Once you have finished with the scrubbing, let the tile and grout air dry for several hours.
