🌿 Who is the Central American Tigrina? This tiny wild cat (Leopardus tigrinus centralis) might be a subspecies… or a full species of its own. Some studies even link it closer to ocelots than to its supposed cousins. Tigrina, and what would have been her fic "Spellbound," solidify my desire for a spellcasting OC for Thundercats and really start settling into that niche. She was only a brief idea, and kinda came about for the reason I stopped developing Sundara and GG.
You see, Sundara was supposed to romance Lion-O.
However. I kept realising she had more chemistry with Tygra (he's charismatic, what can I say). With Tigrina, I really wanted to pivot to Tygra/OC, but oh my god. WHY did I want her to be a tiger so bad. I made SO many world building problems for myself here that ultimately killed the momentum on Spellbound, but I did reuse and reinterpret many of the concepts I thought of for Hiraeth.

Faucaria species, as with many varieties are individually described on the basis of slight variations in the leaves. Originally found in the Eastern Cape and encountered into the Little and Great Karoo of the Western Cape Province, these little succulents form clumps and present a perfect candidate for a patio pot plant. Flower colours range from yellow, white and pink.

'Faucaria Tigrina' also known in Afrikaans as the 'Tierbek Vygie'. It has a clumping habit and produces a yellow flower in late Autumn. Unfortunately I lost mine due to the extreme South African heat.
