Adding to the the character pile!
Was gonna wait to reveal her but I decided
Tigard is her name (thought of by @swirlyorange)
She’s the right hand of v.gates underground organization Amazonian.
While Zareena is the left hand of the legal business. Zareena doesn’t know about the underground organization yet. But finds Tigard very suspicious.
They argue like sanji and Zoro
handsome man in my barn
Looking into the front cab of TriMet's new WES DMUs. Off to the right is a southbound WES train about to depart. Behind our train you can see the gauntlet track that allows the WES trains to get close enough to the platform for level boarding while allowing the freight trains that also use this line to slip by the station. Hi.I just tried to find any numbers or even a news article on the Black Lives Matter march in Tigard, but I am not finding anything.
But let me show you what I saw, because I was there.
Look carefully in the upper left - you can see people still streaming in, while the head of the march was already in front of the Tigard City Hall/Police Station building.
Side note, as we marched past the fire department building, there were people inside waving and smiling at us from the windows. That was awesome.
Second side note, there was a protest the next day in Beaverton. I didn't get pictures, but people lined the streets in front of the library, and like a reverse parade, people drove by and honked and shouted to show their support. Also awesome.
Third side note: According to the 2010 census data, African Americans make up 1.7% of the population in Tigard, 2.6% in Beaverton. Yeah, the protests were very, very white. A lot of “respectable” looking, middle-aged white women. Meaning, to me at least, that there are a lot of non-black people who support Black Lives Matter than some might want us to think.
