I had a friend once tell me “It’s not good sex if you can’t laugh” and I honestly think about it all the time.
It doesn’t only apply to sex but intimacy in general.
I feel like there is an expectation of intimidation and a playfulness that might be more composed or flirty when it comes to more intimate situations.
There is something about being loose with someone. Being able to make jokes and make silly noise and faces at them until we are both in uncontrollable laughing fits. I like that a lot. It feels more natural and that we are both so comfortable to be that side of silly with each other in a more vulnerable setting.
Like I said, I think about what that friend said a lot.
