Everything's Gonna Be All Right
As the bell tinkled over his head, Jesse Tuck took a brief look around, smiled at the teller, and filled out the withdrawal slip before moving to stand in line. He was getting ready to go meet up with his family as they did once every ten years. Though he was excited to see his parents again, he didnāt think he could handle the sting of seeing that āI told you soā look in Milesā eyes.
His phone buzzed in his pocket and Jesse pulled it out. It was a text from his mother. Iām leaving now. Please be careful. You know I donāt like that strange thing you drive.
The young man shook his head and laughed. I told ya, Ma. Itās called a motorcycle. Donāt worry. Just stopping at the bank. After Iām done Iāll head out. Miles might beat me there, but Iāll see all of you soon. Peeking up at the line, Jesse saw he was next and returned his phone to his pocket.
