I just stumbled on your blog and I'm really fascinated by Thwacky's story! I've never had a twin hatch myself, but do you know if he had any complications from that? Hatching at all in that situation is really rare from what I've heard.
It is incredibly rare! Fortunately, because of the egg being owned by a trainer and taken care of by both me and them, it managed to be a very healthy hatch. The two were both smaller than your average Grookey (mine has since gotten to something much closer to average upon evolving) but beyond that there weren't any physical issues.
That situation is also incredibly rare, though. More often than not shared egg twins have physical disabilities as well as being smaller. It's very rare that they both survive very long after hatching, if they even get to that point, unless the parents are extremely experienced with kids or the humans with them are decently experienced or have the right tools.
So basically, him and his twin are little miracles!

Landing right between the boyos bdays, Easter this year for us is a cheerleading theme due to choosing to go with the twin bunnies of Plusle and Minun~
If their school had a cheer team option, that may have been the one and only extra-curricular that Alex could have gotten into and enjoyed, but alas, no such luck!
