when it comes to inspiration, i’ve found that music has always been a big one for me. it may sound silly—but whenever i hear really meaningful lyrics or just the way a song sounds to me, it sparks my imagination a lot.
but finding your muse is different for everyone! i also used to read SO much and i think that’s a big part of it too. in order to write something good you have to read. i don’t read as often but i still read as much as i can. (i fear becoming illiterate 😥)
i’ve been reading/writing since i was in middle school so i would say i have a fair share of experience. i was big into poetry for a while…but my major love for writing started after i began to read lots of fantasy novels.
as for fanfiction…when i was 13 i was actually down so bad for anakin skywalker & that’s actually how i discovered that people wrote things like au’s and fanfiction. i genuinely think some of those works i read formed me as a person 😭✌️.
