Went to the foothills of the White Saddle Mountains with some of the adults to find the cave of the batponies.  The adults were there to try to get information about the missing foals, but I was there to hang out with my friend Peony and her friends.

We met Phantom and Opera, the leaders of the batponies, and one of their guards escorted me to see Peony.  There was a bunch of shouting once I left that particular cavern, but I couldn't make out the words.  I wonder what the adults were yelling about?

Went searching for the wreck of the Destiny with Tale Chaser and Magpie today!  Started by searching in the harbor, just in case it wound up there after the Maelstrom.  Didn't find anything there, but we were kinda expecting that.

Next, we searched on the continental shelf.  Saw a fiddler crab - those make great music!  After some searching, we found a wrecked ship.  Not too old, hole in the sides from a fiery explosion... the back of the ship was buried in silt, so we couldn't see the name, but it sure looked like it was the Destiny!  There was a door to the stern of the ship, but we couldn't open it, so we swam through the hole in the side instead.  There were cannons and chests in there - some intact, most not - and a hole that led into an air pocket.

That turned out to be the captain's quarters!  There were lots of Zebreka masks and tapestries.  I'm not sure what was so special about the pictures on the tapestries, but they made Maggie and TC blush for some reason.  There was also a painting of... I think it might have been of The Bone Mistress, come to think of it.  Oh, and lots of bottles of adult drinks, plus the ship's logs and such.

Bleh - the weather's being weird, so instead of summer sunshine we're having traces of snow and such.  It's not as cold as winter, but the slush isn't melting very fast, either.  :<

At least it's clear enough that I can still pole my bucket-kart around, and on the plus side I got to see Spearmint!  I think his mom was more concerned about the cold than was necessary, but he did look cute in his winter hat and scarf~! <3
